   SPORTS REWARDS

    Objective:        Turn the 'club social' into a club fundraiser
                              
    Another simple idea. Each year in Wales alone, the 'sports club social' is worth an estimated £30 million per annum to the nation's leisure industry.
    This refers to those nights out in restaurants, clubs, ten pin bowling and comedy clubs undertaken by the vast majority of Wales's 4,000 sports clubs who
    don't have their own club house.
 
    That's £30 million spent in a highly competitive leisure industry, an industry that frequently does promotions to attract your custom on 'quieter days'. The plan
    was to see how much of that £30 million could be reinvested into sport. 
 
    The principle behind Sports Rewards was use these discounts as fund raisers for the club or league as demonstrated in a couple of examples below. 
 
RESTAURANTS
 
-    Sunday to Friday:
-    Discounts range from 20% to Buy One Course Get One Free
-    Team members and friends just pay the menu price.
-    Sports Club retains discounted price for club funds.

JONGLEURS
 
-    Wednesday to Friday at Jongleurs throughout the UK:
-    Two for one tickets.
-    Team members and friends just pay the printed ticket price.
-    Sports Club retains discounted price for club funds.
 
    DO IT YOURSELVES, WITH THE SPORT'ERS CLUB
 
    The Sport'ers Club Voucher Book and increasingly planned with the CD-ROM provides a full range of leisure opportunities to turn the club social into
    an easy and effective fundraiser, where no-one pays more than the advertised price.
 
    When used by four clubs on a trial basis in England these events raised over £4,200. That this couldn't be promoted too heavily in Wales, was that it
    was considered too Cardiff centric, but, as the Sport'ers Club platform grows so will the opportunities to make money for your club whilst having a night out.
 
    As we keep saying, its a competitive world out there, and no matter where you are, one things for sure is the leisure outlet would like you to spend your money
    with them and not their rivals. You have the power, so use it!
